Fleet Manager is the component or module in
charge of configuring the system to match your own requirements
(assets, sub fleets, templates). It consists of a set of
Editor Windows where the user can enter new vehicles, edit
drivers, delete schedules, etc. Fleet
Manager is vertically structured to permit multiple
companies, sub fleets, user groups and different vehicle types.
A Macro-User is someone with the rights to add new companies to
the system. A company may have more than one sub fleet of
vehicles. |

User Roles (Access Rights)
The administrator can create different roles that are
given to all system users granting or denying access rights to each
Editor Window and other functionalities in the graphic user
interface like reporting, viewing sub fleets, assigning drivers to
vehicles, etc. |

Fleet Manager comprises the data-entry and editing
of the entire system. Here you can add new vehicles and drivers,
change vehicle assignments and create and optimize your routes.
Being part of PolarSuite, this module is also
highly customizable and can turn off superfluous editors. For
example you may want to deactivate routing editors or eliminate
dispatching options if you do not require the dispatching module
to be activated.
Like any other component of the Integrated
Graphic User Interface, the Editor Windows can be freely docked
within the PolarSuite Frame and if you need it, you can also
have more than one Editor opened at the same time. |
|
 |
PolarSuite also provides a set of
wizards for quickly entering new sub fleets, vehicle types,
vehicles and drivers without having to fill all the fields
available in the Editor Windows. However, only these
fully functional editors can give you total control over each
element of your system. |
